Break/Stop a running matlab process: Ctrl + C

I used this to break a dead-end loop long time ago and then forgot about it. It's good a trick to remember.

  1. Hi! Can you help me :)

How can I write automatically in the x-axis of a figure the ticks I want? for example: I have some dates in it in Matlab format and I have been used datetick for visualize the date(e.g.: 01..01..01..wich are the first day of each month), but I want to appear instead of them: Jan, Feb, Mar... I know I can do in a manual way, but I have to create the final figure only running the program. Thanks in advance.
